I began digital photography back around 2001 as a supplement to my graphic design studies. I been shooting regualrly since then, but didn’t really get ’serious’ about it until Summer 2007 when I bought my first DSL-R, the Sony Alpha 100. I now own an Alpha 700 and a handful of lenses. The cream of my photographic drop can be viewed on flickr, which should be linked in the list on the right.

In my 3rd and 4th years of univeristy I studied Philosophy. Mostly Asian philosophy. My favorite among these was Taosim.

One of my hobbies is playing GO. I’m currently 10k on KGS. Yesterday I won a 9-stone handicap game by 16pts as Black, against a local Go Salon owner.

This is where I live. Kochi is a prefecture in Japan. It’s on Shikoku Island. It’s mostly countryside and mountains. The main city is Kochi City. Population about 400k as of 2010.
